I’ve given some tips on how to do online article marketing like a pro and the tools you’ll need. But, I realize that I haven’t provide a step-by-step guide on how to do this awesome traffic generation strategy. Since I want to make this a very short post, here are the 8 steps.
1. Research Your Keywords

2. Write Your Original Article
Using this formula:
Introduction: Tell them what you’re about to tell them.
Body: Tell them.
Conclusion: Repeat what you have told them.
Author box: Tell them you have more of what you’ve just told them. Also include back links to your main blog.
3. Optimize Your Original Article
Learn more: SEO Optimize Article.
4. Rewrite Your Original Article
Outsource it or use article rewriting software (like: WordFlood or Easy Article Rewriter) to help you. You can use the same keywords as your original article.
5. Check for Duplicates
Check those articles that you have re-written for duplication. Use free Mass Article Checker to do it. Or your preferred tools. Remember we’re aiming for 30% or more.
6. Optimize Those Articles
If you find no duplications. Then, it’s time to optimize your articles for SEO. Increase your keyword density and include your keywords in the title of your article.
7. Syndicate Your Articles
Publish your articles in different article directories and web 2.0 properties. Some top article directories are: EZine Articles, Go Articles, Articles Base, Article Alley, Article City, Article Base, and Article Snatch. And web 2.0 properties you can use are: HubPages and Squidoo.
8. Generate Back Links
As I’ve said in my previous post, The Number’s Game, it’s not enough to get into Google SERPs. You need to be in the top 3. In order to do that, we need to build back links to our articles in the directories by doing social bookmarking, forum linking, or other form of back linking.
